For schools & counsellors
Partner with CaseCatalyst to give your students access to real internships from real companies, with certificates they can put on applications.
01
Bulk memberships cover every student on your roster. No per-seat friction, no upgrade prompts in front of your cohort.
02
A counsellor dashboard shows where every student is in the work. Pull progress reports for boards and parent meetings.

Each student walks away with verifiable work signed by the company that wrote the brief. Ready for UCAS, the Common App, or a CV.
Setup takes about five minutes. If your cohort's already live, jump to the FAQs below — they cover the answers we get most often.
Get your school cohort live in five steps. Setup to first invite takes about five minutes.
A marketplace of real work experience: briefs from real companies. Each brief becomes a project a student can pick. They work through milestones, ship a deliverable by deadline, and earn a certificate signed by someone at the company. Your school cohort gives a group of students access to the catalog through a school-billed plan instead of individual purchases.
The brief comes from a real company with a real decision on the line. A student isn't writing for a grade — they're shipping work the company will read. The deadline is real because the company is waiting. The certificate is signed because someone at the company reviewed and approved.
Just an email and a password. They sign in, browse the catalog, pick a brief, and start working. No software to install — the platform runs in any modern browser.
No. Each student claims their own link with their own password. Treat invite links like account passwords — don't share them or use one student's link for another.
Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org and tell us your school name. We'll send a fresh link.
From the school dashboard, open Students → Invite. Two options:
Ada Lovelace, ada@example.edu.Click Send invites. Each student receives an email with a claim link.
Up to 100 in a single batch via paste or CSV. For a larger cohort, send multiple batches.
Yes. Open the same Students → Invite surface and send invites whenever. Late-joining students get the same catalog access as the rest of the cohort.
Check the inbox spam folder first — invite emails come from contact@casecatalyst.org and some school filters are aggressive. If it's not there, open the student's row on your roster. If their status is still invited, the invite was sent and the link is valid — you can resend it from the same row. If you suspect a typo in the address, confirm the spelling, then re-invite at the corrected address.
Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org with your school name and the student's email, and we'll remove them. If they haven't claimed their link, the invite is invalidated. If they've already claimed and started working, removing them stops them seeing new briefs through your cohort plan — but it doesn't take back work they've already done or certificates they've earned.
Students manage their own profile. From their dashboard they update their full name and email in Settings → Profile. You can't edit a student's profile from the school portal. If a student typed the wrong email at signup, ask them to claim a new invite at the correct email, then ask us to remove the old row from your roster.
No. Each student sees their own dashboard, their own work, their own certificates. The cohort is a billing and access concept for you, not a social one for them.
Yes. Open a student's row on the roster to see each brief they've started, their progress, and the certificates they've earned. You won't see the contents of their reflections or uploads — those go directly to the company.
Schools pay a flat per-student fee covering full catalog access for the cohort's active window. Your initial agreement names the per-student rate and the cohort window. We bill via Stripe Invoices — your Billing tab shows every invoice and its status. If you add students mid-cohort, we send a separate invoice for the additional seats at the same per-student rate.
Open Billing in the top navigation. Every invoice is listed there with its status (paid, open, overdue). Click an invoice to download the PDF or view the Stripe-hosted version.
Stripe retries failed payments automatically over a few days, and emails you at each retry. Your cohort access continues during the retry window. If the invoice isn't resolved within 14 days, we soft-suspend the school — your dashboard becomes read-only, while students who've already started keep access until they finish. Reach out before then if you need a different payment method.
Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org and tell us why. We don't pro-rate refunds on the per-student fee since access is granted for the full window at purchase. If there's a coverage issue or something we should make right, we'll handle it case by case.
The seat fee is for cohort access, not per-completion. We don't refund unused seats. The dropped student keeps catalog access for the rest of the window — they may come back.
Anything a student has shipped stays shipped, and their certificates are theirs forever. We'll reach out before the window ends to talk through a renewal cohort for the next academic period if you want one.
Open Settings in the top navigation. You can edit the school name (up to 120 characters), upload a new logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG, up to 2 MB), change the primary contact email, and update the cohort go-live date. Changes save immediately and reflect on student-facing surfaces.
Not yet. The school account currently supports one admin email; multi-admin support is on the roadmap. In the meantime, you can share the login email and password with a trusted colleague — same access, same dashboard.
Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org with the current admin email and the new admin's email. We'll move the school over and send a fresh claim link to the new admin. Don't change the password yourself without telling us — if anything goes wrong, that's how we recover the account.
In our managed Postgres database, with logos and signatures in Supabase Storage. We don't sell or share school or student data — see Privacy and data below.
No. Students ship directly to the company that wrote the brief. The submission gates (the four hard bars, below) are the only quality signal. We don't insert a school-review step because it would dilute the "real work, real deadline" frame the platform runs on. You can see a student's reflection text and uploads on their roster page after they submit; before submission, the work-in-progress stays with the student.
When a student clicks Submit, the platform runs a preflight check. Every one of these must be true or the submission is blocked:
If any check fails, the student sees which one and can fix it. There's no soft-pass option.
You can see each student's overall progress — not started, in progress, or submitted — and when they last worked. You can't read reflection text or download in-progress uploads until they submit — those are private to the student. If a student is stuck, the right first step is to ask them. To escalate, email us the student's email address and we'll work with you on a path forward.
When a deadline arrives, the workspace enters a grace state. The student sees a banner offering two options: move their credit to their wallet (to use on a different brief), or claim a one-day extension on the current one. The extension is one-shot — no second extension on the same brief. During grace they can also just ship a regular submission if their work's ready. If 7 days pass with no action — no submission, no extension, no wallet move — the workspace locks. The credit can still be moved manually by the student, or they can email us for help.
You can see which certificates each student has earned from the roster page. Each cert has a public page (with the student's full name, the company's name, and the date) at a permanent URL — students share that on LinkedIn, resumes, or wherever they want. We don't offer a bulk cohort download today; every certificate is owned by the student who shipped the work. If a student wants you to have their cert PDF, they can download it from their /certificates page and send it to you.
Onboarding (your initial claim link) and invoice events (Stripe sends issued / paid / failed-payment notices). Invite confirmations aren't emailed — send status is visible on the roster. We don't send marketing email; everything is operational.
Students don't see your school's billing emails — those are for you.
Check spam first. Confirm the email address on file matches what they expect. If both look right, ask them to add contact@casecatalyst.org to their allow list. If emails still aren't arriving, email us and we'll check the delivery logs.
The student's full name, email, and roster status; the briefs they've started, their progress and submission status, and earned certificates. You see what they're working on; you don't see how they're working on it.
You do not see: in-progress reflection text, in-progress uploads, payment history for briefs they paid for personally, or their browsing history on the catalog.
In our managed Postgres database and Supabase Storage, encrypted at rest and in transit. CaseCatalyst staff with admin access can read student data for support purposes. We don't share it with third parties.
A student can ask to be removed from a cohort by emailing contact@casecatalyst.org (self-serve cohort settings aren't available yet). They lose cohort-billed access, but their account stays and they can re-join later if you re-invite them.
Yes. A student emails contact@casecatalyst.org to request data deletion. We remove their profile, reflections, and uploads within 30 days. Certificates they've earned stay — those are public credentials tied to the issuing company, not to the platform.
Try a hard refresh first (Cmd-Shift-R on Mac, Ctrl-Shift-R on Windows). If it's still blank, try a different browser. If it's still blank, email us with a screenshot and the URL.
Common causes:
If none of those fit, email us the student's claimed email and we'll check the logs.
The catalog only shows currently-open briefs. If a brief reached its close date, it leaves the catalog. Students keep access to briefs they've already unlocked even after the brief closes — they finish what they started. If they hadn't unlocked it yet, it's gone from their pickable list.
A soft suspension fires when an invoice is overdue past the grace window. New student invites are blocked; students who'd already started keep access to finish. Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org to resolve the invoice and we'll lift the suspension within a business day.
Email us at contact@casecatalyst.org. Include:
We aim to respond within one business day. For payment and account issues we move faster — within the same business day where possible.
Not today. Email is the only channel. We may add chat for school admins later if email volume tells us schools need it.
Same address. Tag the subject [Bug] or [Feedback] and we'll route it accordingly. We read every message.
Memberships are sized per school. Send the details below and we'll come back with a number that fits your cohort.
